WHAT WE DO
We are a sound system crew and events team based in northern Sydney. We like working with artists, musicians, creatives, and communities to create cool things that bring joy in small-to-medium sized events, mostly by having a swell time solving problems.
Sometimes that involves rocking up with an absurdly large sound system and some decks. Other times, it involves the design and construction of a stage, a lighting arrangement, or an entire event from start to finish.
When we're really lucky, it involves us having a boogie to good music performed by, and with, people we love.

OUR STORY
Our heroes' journey begins with a group of teenagers buying a chunky SONY Bluetooth speaker and a small generator from an auto parts store to throw parties in the bush.
With time, means, and knowledge, production value steadily increased, with ever-more exciting pieces of equipment being used to put smiles on faces in events big and small, from birthday parties to boutique festivals.
All the while, we knew that the biggest shit-eating grins would warrant the biggest sound system we could get away with.
Two years ago, we had the epiphany that it was within our capability to get away with building something large and in charge... so we started learning, accumulating bits of gear, and squirrelling away what money we could to eventually have a crack at building a rig.
The result? In September of 2024, we completed the Sovereign Sound System - a veritable goliath of a stack composed of 6 folded horn subwoofers and 4 concert tops - which we estimate to be capable of generating up to about eight-hundred shit-eating grins at any given time.
It's big. It's sexy. It's lethal. It sounds phenomenal.

SPACE RODEO
We were engaged to provide sound, stage, and lighting services for this rootin' tootin' event in the Hunter. Tom's creative vision for the stage gave us a good base for deploying and tuning the system, while affording us the opportunity to get creative with lighting and take the analogue lasers for a good run.

SPAGHETTIFEST
Was an absolute pleasure delivering sound, stage, and lighting for @spaghetti_fest - and our first full-scale deployment of the new stack, to rave reviews 😎@tom.kobula's vision of a stage consisted of a roadside deli featuring Nonna's finest spaghetti... and it was a roaring success once @lilyoooharte and @kcmar (Head Chefs) got to work setting the scene, complete with custom beers and locally sourced citrus! 🍊🍻

Tuba 30: Folded Horn Subwoofers
These folded-horn subwoofers, sporting Eminence LAB12C drivers, were constructed based on a design from American sound engineer Bill Fitzmaurice.
Sitting at 600mm wide and high passed at 30Hz, these things are possibly the reason seismic restraints are now mandated on building services.
They go üntz oontz real good, and sound their best when deployed in a large diagonal stack.

DR290: Horn-Loaded Concert Tops
These horn-loaded boxes are certified screamers. They make me scream. They make you scream. They scream. We all smile afterwards, it's really wholesome actually.
Like the Tubas, they rock Eminence drivers: one Delta Pro 12-450a full-range woofer and two ASD1001 compression drivers round off each cabinet.
